I was watching a movie about the novelist David Foster Wallace, and in it he says he wants to be a writer because it’s the only time he gets pellets from the universe.
When he’s creative, that’s when he gets that little blip of dopamine, so he continues to chase after it and write more.
This is a website for me to get out some of my thoughts, in order to get my own pellets from the universe.
It’s kind of an experiment, like social media without the social part. I don’t allow comments or feedback, and I’m really sorry for that, but this is so I can write freely without worrying about what an audience will think of me, which is part of the reason why I left social media all together.
