I read that it takes 2 years just to get all the permits in order for affordable housing to be developed in California. That’s crazy!
Meanwhile homeless people just have to sleep in the streets somewhere unsafe like an underpass. Which is really inhumane.
Like, the spotted owl has to get fucked and so does a NIMBY if we want homeless people to have a house.
There are always trade offs.
